Men’s Soccer Set to Host Stonehill on Friday Night

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's soccer team is set to host Stonehill on Friday, Sept. 11 at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Friday night's game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (2-1-0)

The Bears bounced back on Sunday, with a 1-0 win against Saint Peter's.
Lorenzo Amaral scored the lone goal for the Bears, earning his second of the season. His first goal came against New Haven in the first game of the season.
First-year Alex Sauerbrei earned his first collegiate point with an assist on Amaral's goal against the Peacocks.
Newcomer Graham Kois made his first collegiate start on Sunday, making a pair of saves in the game. Kois also earned his first career shutout against the Peacocks.
Four of Brown's newcomers have earned their first points as a Bear within the first three games of the season.
The Bears split their first two games of the season, earning a 2-0 win over New Haven and dropping their road contest at UConn.

Scouting the Skyhawks (2-1-2)

The Skyhawks fell in their most recent outing to Ivy League opponent Dartmouth, 2-0 on Labor Day.
Stonehill opened up its 2026 season with two-straight wins against URI, 3-2, and Northeastern, 1-0.
The Skyhawks drew against Merrimack, 1-1 (Aug. 27) and Army, 2-2 (Sept. 3).
Stonehill's contest against Brown marks its final game of a three-game road stretch.
Killian Doherty leads the Skyhawks in scoring with three goals and two in five games.
Goalkeeper Felix van der Hagen has earned all five starts for Stonehill, earning a 1.40 goals against average.

History

Friday's contest marks only the third time that Brown and Stonehill have met.
Brown leads the series 2-0 following a 5-3 win in 2024 year, and 3-1 win in 2023.
