2009-10: Gained valuable experience at early season tournaments, while working his way to the top of the 285 lbs weight division for the Bears.

Before Brown: Graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, where he lettered four times in wrestling and four times in football … Had a 32-5 record in his senior season, when he finished third at the PIAA Northeast Regionals … Served as a team captain in both his junior and senior seasons … Made three appearances on the Times Leader All-Conference Team … Finished his career with a 112-28 overall record.

Personal: Tyler Joseph Cowman is the son of Shawn and Diane Cowman of Kingston, Pennsylvania … Has two brothers, Trevin and Trey.
