Before Brown: Finished third at the Pennsylvania State Championships as a senior … Came in second at Prep Nationals as a freshman and third as a sophomore … Placed three times at Escape the Rock and twice at Beast of the East … Compiled a 163-38 high school record; went 45-8 as a freshman, 40-9 as a sophomore, 34-12 as a junior, and 43-9 as a senior … Distinguished Honors student.
Personal: Shane is the son of Kimberly and Bill Hanson … Has two older siblings, Ryan and Eric … Born on November 1, 2000 … Plans to concentrate Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations and pursue a career in sports litigation.
Why Brown? “My goal from the beginning of my freshman year was to go to an Ivy League school, and after visiting a couple of the schools, Brown was the school that felt like home for me.”
