CAREER: Graduated as a three-time USAG All-American, a five-time All-GEC honoree, including a pair of First Team honors on bars and floor, and a three-time All-Ivy Classic honoree. In 2025 she captured the GEC individual title on floor, was named the GEC Specialist of the Year, and qualified for the NCAA Regional on floor. She won the Ivy League championship on floor with a score of 9.900 at the Ivy Classic and concluded the season tied for first in the GEC for the top floor NQS (9.865). Overall, she is one of just nine gymnasts in program history to score a 9.900 on floor and one of just four to do so multiple times. In 2024, she earned USAG All-America honors on both bars and floor, scoring a 9.900 on floor at USAG Nationals. In 2023, she earned First Team All-America honors with her score of 9.825 on floor at USAG Nationals.

Before Brown: Placed in the top 10 at the New York State Championships and qualified for regionals at Level 10 in 2019 … Won state titles in the all-around, floor, and beam at Level 9 in 2018 … Captured a floor title and placed third in the all-around at regionals at Level 9 in 2018 … Came in third in the all-around and floor at the Eastern National Championships at Level 9 in 2018 … Served team as a captain … Earned team’s Hardest Worker Award and Most Improved Award… Performed for coaches Jack Smith, Gene Alexin, Daniel Xara, and Rebecca Alexin … Competed on the club level for NYC Elite Gymnastics and Gotham Gymnastics, Brooklyn … Missed 2020 season due to COVID and 2021 season due to injury … National Honor Society student and an AP Scholar.

Personal: Maya is the daughter of Donna D’Alessio Davis and John Davis … Has three younger siblings, John, Barrett, and Clayton … Established a leadership program at Gotham Gymnastics to allow for mentorship between gymnasts.
