2021-22: CRCA Scholar-Athlete … Rowed with the second varsity eight for the entire season … Rowed in the seven-seat in every race before moving to the six-seat at the NCAA Championship … Helped the boat finish seventh at the NCAA Championship and second at the Ivy League Championship … Member of the winning crew at the Eastern Sprints … Rowed with the second boat in the wins over Princeton and Ohio State (Mar. 26), Radcliffe (Apr. 3), and Cornell and Dartmouth (Apr. 23).
2020-21: Did not compete.
2019-20: Placed seventh out of 47 entries with the B varsity eight at the Princeton Chase (Oct. 27) … Spring season canceled due to novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Before Brown: Won gold in the intermediate eight, elite four, and elite eight at the 2019 USRowing National Championships … Took second place in the four at the USRowing Youth National Championships in 2018 and 2019 … Came in second in the coxless pair at the 2018 USRowing Club National Championships … Captured first place in the four at the 2018 Head of the Charles … Rowed for head coach Marko Serafimovski … Competed on the club level for RowAmerica Rye … High honor roll student.
Personal: Greta is the daughter of Caroline and Daniel Filor … Has two younger siblings, Luke and Emeline … Entered Brown undecided on a concentration.
Why Brown? “I chose Brown because of the inclusive nature of the community and the unique feel of the campus and classes. In particular, I was drawn to the highly competitive crew team. Once I visited and met the students, I knew Brown was the right place for me.”
