2014: Started 12 and appeared in 22 games in the pitching circle for the Bears … Recorded a team-high three wins on the season … finished second on the team with 71.2 innings pitched … Led the team with a 4.40 ERA while striking out 24 batters … Pitched three complete games ... Picked up first collegiate win in 4.0 innings of relief at UNC Wilmington (March 2) ... Threw combined 11.0 innings without allowing an earned run in doubleheader split with Dartmouth, including complete-game four-hit victory in nightcap (Apr. 20).
Before Brown: Vice-president of the National Honor Society and president of the French Society at Abraham Lincoln High School…Also a member of the class council and the California Scholarship Federation…Selected to the honor roll for four consecutive years…Earned four varsity letters in softball and two in basketball at Abraham Lincoln High School…Captained the softball team during her junior and senior year…Lead her team to the championship title during her freshman year…Received her league’s Freshman of the Year award, Sophomore of the Year award and Junior of the Year award…Earned second team All-League honors during her senior season…Also played for the San Jose Lady Sharks.
