Before Brown: Four-time Team MVP, four-time Boston Globe Athlete of the Year, four-time Northeast Conference Player of the Year and four-time Salem News Softball Player of the Year … 2024 Femaile Moynihan Lumber Student-Athlete of the Year and Will McDonough MIAA Female Athelte of the Year … Finished her career with a 1.07 ERA and a school-record 732 strikeouts in 450.1 innings pitched … Hit .567 with 26 home runs and 110 RBI in her career … Northeastern Conference Scholar Athlete Award … Mother Lauren played softball at Brown from 1993-97, and was a member of the only Brown Softball team to make the NCAA Tournament.
Why Brown?: I chose Brown because I immediately fell in love with the community and atmosphere here on campus. The ability to explore my interests as I see fit with the open curriculum. As well as getting the perfect balance between academics and athletics I was looking for. Brown allows me to live out my collegiate softball dreams while setting up a successful future at the same time.
