Brown University's Alden-Rothenberg Cross Country Track & Field Coaching Chair Ken Hunt announced Evan Rose the newest member of the track and field program at a signing day press conference on December 3, 2022. Evan came to Brown through a partnership with Team IMPACT, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.
Evan, who has several medical conditions including epilepsy, will participate in many activities with the track & field team including competitions, practices, and other team events.
"I absolutely love working with Evan," coach Hannah Chappell-Dick said. "He always has such a big smile and I think it's been really beneficial for our student-athletes to get outside the college bubble and see that the wider community has a lot to offer both to them and what it means to serve their community as well."
