2009 Indoor Track & Field: In the 2009 indoor season, Lowry ran a personal best time (2:29) in the 1,000m and qualified for IC4As at the Valentine Invitational at Boston University. He also ran a personal best 800m (1:55) at the Yale Giegengack Invitational. In the 2010 outdoor season, he ran a personal best 800m (1:55) at the Larry Ellis Invitational and showed steady improvement in the 1,500m at the Princeton Elite Meet (3:58) and New Balance Boston Meets 1 (3:57) and 2 (3:55).

High School: In Cross country Dan was Philadelphia Catholic League champion, Eastern States Champion, and 12th at Footlocker Northeast. In indoor track, he anchored 4:12 for the US#1 indoor DMR (10:15.89). In outdoor track, he anchored 4:12 again for 2nd place at Penn Relays and had an open mile time of 4:13.
