2021-22: Rowed between the 3V8 3and 4V8 crews during the spring slate … Helped the V4 take tenth at the 119th IRA Championship … Helped the 4V8 take third at the 75th Eastern Sprints … Rowed with the third boat in wins over Northeastern (Apr. 16) and Princeton (Apr. 30).

Before Brown: Won a national title in the junior men’s double in 2020 … Captured a national championship in the 2K junior indoor erg in 2020 … Raced for the Croatian National Team … Competed at the 2020 European Rowing Junior Championships and 2021 World Rowing Cup I … Rowed for head coach Luka Vrgoc … Raced on the club level for HVK Mornar Split … Earned first place in the EDIT programming course in 2018.

Personal: Gordan is the son of Vesna and Dragan Milovac … Has one younger sibling, Vedran … Entered Brown undecided on a concentration but considering a career in engineering.

Why Brown? “I've always wanted to study abroad, and with my academic results and rowing accomplishments, I figured out that it was possible. Brown was one of the schools that had the most approachable coaching staff, admissions team and many more. They really seemed interested in the students they are about to meet and that instantly attracted me. From that point on, I was more and more amazed by the coaches and the team’s enthusiasm, and I simply knew that Brown was the school for me.”
