Before Brown: A three-sport athlete at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, Nesi was a four-year starter on the lacrosse team, a three-year starter on the basketball team, and a two-year member of the soccer team … Served as senior captain of the lacrosse team and was named to the All-FCIAC First Team, All-FCIAC East Team, All-State First Team, and CT Super Juniors Team over the course of her high school career … As a sophomore, Nesi helped her team win the 2010 State Championship … On the basketball court, Nesi was a two-year captain and received FCIAC Honorable Mention for two consecutive seasons … Earned Academic All-American Honors in 2011 … A member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and Math National Honor Society … Earned National Merit Scholar recognition …Served as president of her school’s Key Club.
