Annie Burton Named Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior Annie Burton of the Brown women's lacrosse team was named a 2025 Nike Lacrosse Media Honorable Mention All-American, Inside Lacrosse announced on Friday.
Burton earns her second All-American honor of the season after being named a USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American last week. Earlier today, she was named Second Team All-Northeast Region by the IWLCA. She becomes the second Inside Lacrosse All-American under head coach Katrina Dowd, Burton joins former teammate Mia Mascone who earned First Team Inside Lacrosse All-American honors last season.
Burton was also named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in March, becoming the third Bear to be named to the Watch List, she was also named First Team All-Ivy.
The Chatham, N.J. native finished the 2025 season with 17 goals and 57 assists, 57 assists is the most in a single season in program history. At the Ivy League Tournament, Burton became the second player in program history to eclipse 100 career assists, joining Lauren Becker '86. She also posted her 100th career point on Feb. 21 against Holy Cross.
