As a Senior in 2016-17: Team captain … Appeared in 25 games … finished with two goals and five assists for seven points … recorded six points in ECAC play … scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Dartmouth (1/21) … took 18 shots.
As a Junior in 2015-16: Appeared in 15 games … recorded two goals … scored his first career goal in the team’s win over No. 1 Providence College (1/3) … took 11 shots … took a season-high three shots in two games.
As a Sophomore in 2014-15: Appeared in four games … took two shots against Yale (Jan. 16) … also saw action against Rensselaer (Dec. 6), Providence (Jan. 10), and Clarkson (Jan. 23).
As a Freshman in 2013-14: Appeared in 12 games on the season … Earned his first collegiate start on November 9th at Princeton … Tallied one assist in the season finale at St. Lawrence … Had a season-high five shots on goal in a victory over Colgate … Blocked three shots on the season … Appeared in eight ECAC contests for the Bears.
Before Brown: Doane played hockey for four years at Noble & Greenough and was a teammate of both Mark Hourihan ’14 and Matt Harlow ’15 … Also played lacrosse for three years … Played for the South Shore Kings of the EJHL in 2012-13 … Registered 43 points (23g, 20a) in 42 games with the Kings, finishing as the team’s third-leading scorer … Scored two power play goals and had one game-winning tally … Selected to play in the EJHL All-Star Game … Was a two-time captain at Noble and Greenough … Helped to lead Nobles to the Flood Marr Championship in both 2008-09 and 2011-12 … Earned All-ISL honors in both 2010-11 and 2011-12 … Nobles won the 2010 ISL Championship and advanced to the New England Championship in 2012.
