Before Brown: A graduate of Bishop Blanchet, Jonah earned First Team All-League honors to go along with being selected to the Puget Sound All-Star Team. He was named the Valedictorian at Bishop Blanchet while being a member of the National Honors Society and the ASB President.

Internationally, Jonah was a member of the USA Maccabi U18 program, he won two Gold Medals for the Maccabi U18 squad in 5v5 and 3v3. Jonah's father, Jon, is a member of the Brown class of 1992. A basketball player at Brown, Jon played 78 games and averaged 7.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game and 43.7 percent shooting from the floor.
