In 2009: Joined the team midway through theseason and played and started in 24 games … Batted .281 forthe year and had 18 hits, including five doubles and one triple,scored 11 runs and tallied eight RBI … Had a season-highthree hits and three runs scored in a game against Bryant, andearned three RBI vs. Penn.
In 2007: Starting and playing in all 43 gamesas shortstop, Katie Rothamel led the team in walks with 16 in herfirst year with the Bears...In 116 at bats, she scored 11 runs, had23 hits and combined for nine RBIs...Hit her first collegiatehomerun against Yale (4/28).
Before Brown: A graduate of Brentwood HighSchool, Rothamel lettered in softball for four years as ashortstop...In 2006, helped lead the Brentwood squad through thedistrict and regionals for a third place finish in Tennessee...Made All-State, All-Region and All-District teams, as well as theMiddle Tennessee State Team.
