Field Hockey Adds Mia Borley as Assistant Coach

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown field hockey head coach Britt Broady has announced the addition of Mia Borley as the program's new assistant coach.
"I am incredibly excited to join the Brown Field Hockey program as an assistant coach," Borley said. "The program has shown such impressive growth under Coach Broady's leadership, and I am thrilled to be joining at this time to help continue to push Brown field hockey to its full potential. I'd like to thank Coach Broady for this incredible opportunity and can't wait to get to work on and off the field with the exceptional staff and student-athletes."
Borley comes to Brown after serving as an assistant coach at Stonehill for three seasons. In three seasons with the Skyhawks, Borley has helped the program earn six All-NEC honors. In addition, goalkeeper Isabelle Morton recorded 105 saves in 2025, the eighth-most in a single season in Stonehill field hockey history.
A 2022 graduate of Maine, Borley was a five-year starting goalkeeper for the Black Bears and was a two-time All-America East performer, including Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team honors in 2021. She was also a two-time America East All-Tournament Team selection and named Most Outstanding Player in 2021 after leading Maine to its first America East title and NCAA Tournament bid. Maine posted a 60-31 record over her five seasons as the netminder, including a 31-6 record in America East play.
Borley, an NFHCA All-Northeast selection in 2021, started 89 of Maine's 91 games over her collegiate career, posting a 1.65 goals against average and .717 save percentage with 14 shutouts in over 5,440-minutes in goal. She earned America East Defensive Player of the Week honors twice, with NFHCA National Defensive Player honors once, and America East Rookie of the Week accolades twice as a freshman.
Borley joins a coaching staff that features Broady and second-year assistant coach Frankie O'Brien. Brown will look to make its third-straight Ivy League Tournament in 2026.
