Field Hockey Selected Fifth in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Brown field hockey team was selected fifth in the 2026 Ivy League preseason poll, the Ivy League announced on Tuesday.
The 2025 Ivy League Champion Harvard was selected first in the poll with 121 points and 10 first place votes. Princeton was selected second with 118 points and six first place votes. Yale (84 points) and Cornell (74 points) rounded out the top four spots.
Brown checked in fifth (66 points) ahead of Penn (53 votes), Columbia (37 votes) and Dartmouth (23 votes).
The Bears will open its 2026 season against UConn on Friday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. at Goldberger Family Field.
