BOSTON – Brown women's swimming and diving (5-3, 3-3 Ivy) concludes the 2025-26 regular season at the BU Winter Open held at the FitRec Competition Pool on February 6-7. Hosted by Boston University, the two-day meet begins at 6 p.m. on Friday and at noon on Saturday. Finals are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening.
The Bears are coming off their third straight victory after defeating Cornell 229-71. Brown swept all 16 events, including Natalie Garre setting a new program record in the 1000 free. Amie Barrow also set a Teagle Pool record in the 200 breaststroke.
Many Bears have multiple individual event victories, including eight for Morgan Lukinac, seven for Garre, six for Crystal Yuen, and five for Elena Yeh. Garre broke three school records this season: the 1000 free (9:49.48), the 500 free on Nov. 21 (4:43.34), and the 1650 free on the final day of the Bucknell Invitational. The mark in the 1650 free broke the previous school record, set by Megan Viohl in 2014.
Isabella Dieffenthaller broke the 200 free mark in Brown's win over Yale, finishing in 1:45.39.
