Iginla Named ECAC Forward of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's hockey's Jade Iginla was named Forward of the Week by the ECAC, the conference announced on Tuesday (Feb. 3).
Iginla led Brown to a 2-0-0 weekend with wins at Union and RPI, keeping the Bears in the hunt for a top four seed with two weeks left to play. The senior captain finished the weekend with five points to lead the Bears.
To start the weekend, Iginla posted a goal and an assist in a 7-3 win at Union. She finished that up with two goals and an assist at RPI.
Iginla is the fifth Bear to win a Player of the Week award this season and the second Bear to win Forward of the Week after Monique Lyons took the award on Nov. 18.
