Sailing Set to Begin Spring Season This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown sailing teams are set to compete in three events this weekend as they open the 2026 spring season.

The open sailing team will host the Liam O'Keefe Team Race Trophy at the Ted Turner '60 Pavilion at the Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston, R.I. Racing will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28 beginning at 11 a.m. The open team will also compete for the McMerrick Cup at Roger Williams on Sunday morning.

The women's sailing team will now host the Brown Women's Team Race on Sunday, Mar. 1 at 10 a.m. in Cranston, R.I.
