
Men’s Tennis Set for ECAC Championships This Weekend

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Brown men's tennis team (6-1) will participate in the ECAC Championships this weekend hosted by Princeton.
The Bears enter the event as the No. 8 seed among eight Ivy League teams. Brown will open the event against No. 1 Columbia on Friday, Feb. 13 at 9 a.m. Depending on its results against Columbia, Brown will take on either No. 4 Cornell or No. 5 Yale on Saturday, Feb. 14.
The event will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 15.
Brown enters the ECAC Championships with a 6-1 record after beginning the season 5-0 for the second-straight season. The Bears have picked up wins over Merrimack, Fordham, Holy Cross, Marist, Boston College, and Quinnipiac.
The doubles pairing of Zander Bravo and Ivan Sodan are 6-1 so far this season. In singles action, Lukas Phimvongsa is 5-1. Phimvongsa is also unbeaten in doubles action this season with three different partners.
Following the ECAC Championships, Brown will continue non-conference play with a trip to Richmond (Feb. 21) and William & Mary (Feb. 22).
