Women's Swimming and Diving Dominates in 229-71 Win at Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. – Brown women's swimming and diving (5-3, 4-3 Ivy) won its third consecutive dual on Saturday as the Bears dominated their way to a 229-71 victory over Cornell (2-6, 1-6 Ivy) at Teagle Pool. Brown swept all 16 events during the two-day dual that featured Natalie Garre shattering the 1000 free program record, and Amie Barrow setting a Teagle Pool standard in the 200 breaststroke.
Garre set a new top mark for Brown, finishing the 1000 free in 9:49.48. Earlier this season, she broke the program record that stood since 2014 (9:52.19). Barrow's 2:14.69 performance in the 200 breaststroke broke the previous Teagle Pool record of 2:14.82.
Nadia Thomas, Angelina Chen, Eva McIver-Jenkins, and Morgan Lukinac won the 200-yard medley with a time of 1:41.00.
Kelly Dolce won the 200 free for the second time this season, this time in 1:49.41.
Emilia Barck's 54.86 in the 100 backstroke was tops at Teagle Pool on Saturday.
Barrow won the 100 breaststroke for the second time this season with a time of 1:02.85.
Beatrice Stewart earned her first individual event victory in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 2:00.92.
Crystal Yuen collected her sixth individual event win on Saturday and first in the 50 free (22.72).
Isabella George earned her third 3-meter dive victory, picking up a 311.63 score.
Dolce added her second win of the day in the 100 free, as did Barck in the 200 backstroke.
Garre added a win in the 500 free, finishing in 4:49.47. The win was her seventh overall individually and third in the 500.
Lilian Klinginsmith won the 100 butterfly (54.24), her second time earning the 100 fly win this season.
Elena Yeh won the 1-meter dive for the third time in 2025-26, collecting a score of 277.80.
Sumner Chmielewski won the 200-yard IM for the second time this season (2:02.46).
Yuen, Isabella Dieffenthaller, Audrey Chung, and Lukinac won the 400 free to cap the day, finishing in 3:21.32.
