Andrew Reall Wins Ivy League Wrestler of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown wrestling earned its first weekly award on Tuesday as No. 26 Andrew Reall (197) was named Ivy League Wrestler of the Week. Reall, who has dominated en route to a 24-4 overall record, went 3-0 over the weekend at the Davidson Duals (Jan. 16).Â
The sophomore picked up one of the biggest wins of the season for his team, defeating No. 10 Dillon Bechtold (Bucknell) via an 11-2 major decision, while also earning a hard fought 2-0 decision over Lock Haven's Tucker Hogan. With several pinfalls, six tech falls, and four major decisions on the year, Reall has built up a resume that is undoubtedly worthy of a spot in the NCAA Tournament this March.Â
Reall becomes the first Brown wrestler to win Ivy League Wrestler of the Week since Blake Saito won the award on Jan. 9 2025. You can see the full press release HERE.
Brown returns to the mat on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. when they visit Cornell.Â
