
Stistrup Petersen Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior midfielder and defender Mads Stistrup Petersen has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
The Odense, Denmark native scored his third goal of the season in Brown's matchup at Boston University on Friday night. In the 52nd minute of the contest, Stistrup Petersen booted the ball on Brown's free kick, sending it right past Terriers' goalkeeper Ben Alexander. Friday night's goal marked his third-consecutive game scoring.
Stistrip Petersen recorded goals against Holy Cross and Fairfield prior to Friday night's contest. He netted Brown's first goal of the season in their home opener against Holy Cross, and scored the game-winning goal at Fairfield. Stistrup Petersen now leads the Ivy League in goals and shots on goal, and leads the team with six points.
The Bears return to the pitch on Wednesday night when they host UConn at 7 p.m.
