Sailing Prepares for Five-Event Opening Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown sailing teams will open up the 2025 fall season this weekend, competing in five events.Â
Brown will host the Bears Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 12 p.m. The event will take place at the Ted Turner '60 Sailing Pavilion at the Edgewood Yacht Club.
A four-member squad will compete for the Pine Trophy at the Coast Guard Academy. Competition will run from Sept. 6-7 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The rest of the Bears will compete for the Harry Anderson and Toni Deutsch Trophies, and in the Harvard Invitational.
