Ilias Stothart Named NWPC Player of the Week For Second Time

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo's Ilias Stothart was named NWPC Player of the Week for the second time this season after guiding Brown to a 4-0 record last weekend, the conference announced on Tuesday (Sept. 23).

Stothart finished the weekend with 17 goals and drew four exclusions and three penalties in wins over Connecticut College, Pomona-Pitzer, Chapman and Johns Hopkins.

To start the weekend, Stothart netted three goals against Connecticut College and four against Pomona-Pitzer. On Sunday (Sept. 21), Stothart scored five goals against both Chapman and Johns Hopkins.

For the season, Stothart now sits at 48 goals to lead the Bears.
