Amaral had a four-point game in Brown's 4-1 win over UMass Lowell on Saturday night. He put the Bears on the board first, with an unassisted strong shot from right outside the box. The goal marked his first of the season.Â
Amaral then assisted on Brown's second goal of the night from Carlo Brown. He showed off his footwork as he danced around the River Hawks' defender, before handing the ball off to Mads Stistrup Petersen who sent it to Brown for the score. Amaral capped off his night threading the perfect pass to an open Jamin Gogo Peters who cashed in on the scoring opportunity to give the Bears a 3-1 advantage.Â
Lorenzo also recorded two shots in Tuesday's 1-0 win at URI.Â
The Orlando, Fla. native currently leads the Ivy League in shots (3.50/g) and shots on goal (1.33/g). He ranks second in the conference in assists (.667/g).
The Bears return to the pitch tomorrow night when they host city-rival Providence at 7 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
