
Men’s Tennis Earns Three Wins on Day Two of Harvard Invite

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Brown men's tennis team wrapped up day two of the Harvard Invite on Saturday with one doubles victory and two singles victories.
In doubles play, freshmen Elliot Wasserman and Cole Oberg earned Brown's lone win with a 6-3 victory over SMU's Vikas Deo and Matthew Faraci. The pairing of Toby Luo and Alex Koong, fell just short in a tight match against BU's Jakob Esterowitz and Payton Jim-On, 7-6 (6).
On the singles side, Wasserman continued his strong play with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Deo. Koong also secured a victory, defeating BU's Adrian Quiros, 6-2, 7-5. Oberg battled but fell to Faraci of SMU in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, while Luo dropped a three-setter to Esterowitz, 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.
The Bears will conclude the Harvard Invite with final day action on Sunday, Sept. 21.
