Women's Hockey Picked Eighth in ECAC Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's ice hockey was selected to finish eighth in the ECAC Preseason Poll, the league announced on Thursday (Sept. 11).
Voted by the league's coaches, Brown was selected eighth for the second-straight season after posting its second-straight eighth-place finish last year.
Cornell sits on top of the poll with eight of the 12 first-place votes. Colgate is picked to finish second with Clarkson picked third. Both teams earned two first-place votes.
St. Lawrence and Quinnipiac were tied for fourth followed by Princeton in sixth and Yale in seventh.
After the Bears, Union was picked to finish ninth, followed by Harvard, Dartmouth and Rensselaer.
