Women's Gymnastics Hires Dante Cecil as an Assistant Coach

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown head women's gymnastics coach Brittany Harris has announced the hiring of Dante Cecil as an assistant coach. Cecil joins the Bears having spent the last three seasons at Springfield College.
"We are thrilled to welcome Dante Cecil to the Brown Gymnastics family as our new assistant coach," said Harris. "Dante brings a fresh perspective, a strong technical background, and an energy that will undoubtedly elevate our program. His passion for developing student-athletes both in and out of the gym aligns perfectly with our team culture, and I'm excited for the impact he will have on our Bears."
Cecil served as the graduate assistant coach for the men's at Springfield College since 2022 and was named 2024 ECAC Assistant Coach of the Year, helping Springfield College make the team's third-straight NCAA Division I Nationals appearance.
Cecil also has prior experience as the women's gymnastics coach for Pioneer Gymnastics and Woodward PA. He graduated from Springfield College with a B.S. in Marketing & Business Management in 2023 and with a M.ED in Athletic Leadership in 2025.
