
Four Baseball Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

Juniors Mark Henshon and DJ Dillehay, along with seniors Gunner Boree and Nathan Brasher, were all named to the team. For Boree, Henshon and Brasher, 2025 marks the second straight year of earning the award.
The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Brasher graduated this spring with a degree in applied math-economics. This season, he tied for the team lead with 23 runs scored, two triples and nine stolen bases, led the team with nine hit-by-pitches and had a 12-game on-base streak from March 22 to April 11.
Boree graduated this spring with a degree in business economics, tied for the team lead with six home runs and 23 runs scored, and ranked second on the squad with 23 RBIs. He delivered a game-winning three-run homer with two outs in the top of the ninth to help Brown rally at Bryant for a 7-6 win on March 16 and added a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th to complete the Bears' rally over Stonehill on March 25.
Concentrating in biology, Henshon finished with 16 runs scored and 14 RBIs in 2025. He tied for second on the team with 13 walks and closed the season with a 12-game hitting streak and reached base in each of his final 23 games. He had a pair of hits including a home run at Columbia on March 22, had a bases-clearing three-run double against Rhode Island on April 16, and finished the year with a 1.000 fielding percentage, playing error-free ball in 216 chances.
Dillehay started all 39 games this season, primarily at shortstop, and tied for third in the Ivy League with 101 assists. He led Brown with 30 RBIs and tied for the team lead with six home runs and 23 runs scored. He posted a .272/.335/.437 slash line and had a season-high six-game hitting streak from March 8-22. He went 3-for-6 with two homers, three RBIs and three runs scored in an extra inning win over Penn on May 3. He is concentrating in business economics.
