Brown University Announces Change in Baseball Leadership

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Samuel M. Mencoff '78 Vice President for Athletics and Recreation M. Grace Calhoun '92, Ph.D. announced today a change in leadership of the baseball program. Effectively immediately, Grant Achilles will no longer serve as the Baseball Head Coaching Chair.

"We are grateful for all of Grant's contributions to the Brown Baseball program," Calhoun said. "We wish Grant and his family all the best in their next chapter."

Serving as head coach since 2014, Achilles compiled a record of 119-252 overall and 72-126 in Ivy League play during the 11 seasons of his tenure.

A national search for the baseball head coach position will begin immediately.
