Men’s Tennis Earns 7-0 Victory Over Boston University

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team (12-5) opened its weekend with a 7-0 victory over Boston University (0-6) on Friday evening inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.

In doubles, Noah Hernandez & Lukas Phimvongsa set the tone early, securing a 6-0 victory and the doubles point. George Bader and Brian Chong picked up a doubles victory as Sam Feldman and James Lian rounded out the doubles victories for Brown.

The momentum continued in the singles matches as the Bears went on to claim all 6 singles matches, highlighted by a strong 6-1, 6-1 victory by Lukas Phimvongsa and a three set victory by James Lian 6-2, 5-7, 6-2.

Brown will be back in action on Sunday, Mar. 9 at 10 a.m. when they host NJIT, before welcoming Holy Cross at 4 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
