PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Ivy League released the 2024-25 All-Ivy teams for wrestling this afternoon and Hunter Adrian (133) picked up Second Team All-Ivy honors, while Blake Saito (157) was listed as an honorable mention. The full release can be found HERE.
Adrian posted a 6-6 overall record this season, going 2-1 against the Ivy League and 3-2 in dual competition. He has been a consistent presence for the Bears since joining the program in 2020, going 42-36 overall for his career.
Saito, who is currently ranked #31 in the country for his weight class, has had a fantastic season for the Bears. He enters postseason competition with an 11-3 record on the year, going 2-2 against the Ivy League and 6-3 in dual competition.
Adrian and Saito are both currently ranked as 3 seeds for the upcoming Ivy Tournament on March 9, making them the highest seeded Bears at the event.
"Blake and Hunter have been two linchpins in our program. They have been unwavering in the pursuit to reach their full potential. Their impacts on the program go far beyond their results. That being said, it is nice to see them honored for some of their successes. We hope to see them have their career best performances this Sunday and earn their first births to the NCAA Championships," said Head Coach Jordan Leen.
