Women’s Water Polo Coach JJ Addison Steps Down

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University Samuel M. Mencoff '78 Vice President for Athletics and Recreation M. Grace Calhoun '92, Ph.D., announced today that JJ Addison would step down as the Women's Water Polo Head Coach.
"I want to thank JJ for all that he has done for the Women's Water Polo program at Brown," Calhoun said. "We wish him the very best going forward."
Addison was in his seventh season at Brown and his first as the women's head coach. Felix Mercado, the Director of Water Polo, will serve as the Bears' interim head coach. A national search for a permanent successor as women's head coach will begin this spring.
The Bears (14-12) will travel to the University of Michigan for games this weekend.
