No. 17 Women’s Lacrosse Set for Road Test at No. 11 Duke on Tuesday

DURHAM, N.C. - The No. 17 Brown women's lacrosse team (7-2, 2-1) will travel to No. 11 Duke (9-3, 4-2) on Tuesday, the opening draw control is set for 1:00 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
Last Time Out
Brown picked up its second consecutive Ivy League win and its second consecutive win over a ranked opponent with a 12-10 win over then No. 24 Harvard (Mar. 29).
Carly Camphausen paced the Bears with four goals as Avery Doran led Brown with one goal to go along with four assists. Claire Mahoney stopped 12 shots in the win for Brown as Greta Criqui recorded her 100th career point.
National Noise
Brown checked in at No. 17 in the IL Women top 25 poll while being ranked at No. 19 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine top 20 poll and the IWLCA top 25 poll.
The Bears have defeated two top 25 opponents in the same season for the first time since 2018.
Mahoney Continues To Impress
After making a career-high 12 saves against Harvard, Mahoney was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Mahoney sported a .545 save percentage in the win.
The New Canaan, Conn. native has stopped 22 shots over the last two games. Mahoney's 7.27 goals against average ranks third in the nation and first in the Ivy League, her .495 save percentage ranks 15th nationally and first in the Ivy League.
Scouting Brown (7-2, 2-1)
Brown will look for its third consecutive win and its third consecutive win against a ranked opponent. The Bears are 5-1 in non-conference action with their lone non-conference loss coming against No. 1 Boston College (Mar. 18).
Brown's 9.33 assists per game ranks fourth in the nation while its 24.89 points per game ranks third in the nation. The Bears also rank ninth nationally in scoring margin (6.22) and scoring offense (15.56).
Annie Burton's 3.56 assists per game ranks fourth nationally.
Scouting Duke (9-3, 4-2)
Duke will welcome Brown with a 6-0 record at Koskinen Stadium, The Blue Devils have outscored their opponents 28-10 over their last two home games and have won three consecutive games overall.
Last week, Madison Beale and Bella Goodwin were named Honorable Mention Midseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse. Goodwin leads Duke with 34 goals and 46 points and Beale leads the Blue Devils with 16 caused turnovers.

Brown will continue Ivy League play when they welcome Columbia to Stevenson-Pincince Field on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 3:30 p.m. Following the conclusion of the game, Brown will honor its nine seniors.
