Jack Kelly Earns First Team All-American Honors in 100 Breaststroke

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Brown men's swimming's Jack Kelly earned First Team All-America honors, finishing eighth in the 100 breaststroke at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday night (March 28).
Kelly becomes the first Bear to earn All-America honors in back-to-back seasons since Carl Paulson in 1943-44. Kelly finished in a time of 50.77 for an eighth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke. In the 2024 Championships, Kelly earned All-American honors in the 200 breaststroke.
Rowland Lawver competed in the 3-meter diving, taking 40th in the 3-meter with a score of 292.85.
Kelly will be back in action for his final event of the championships on Saturday (March 29) as the senior will be swimming in the 200 breaststroke with prelims beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
