
Jack Kelly, Rowland Lawver Set to Compete at NCAA Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving's Jack Kelly and Rowland Lawver will head to Federal Way, Wash., to compete in the 2025 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships from Wednesday (March 26) to Saturday (March 29).
All sessions of the NCAA Championships will be streamed on ESPN+. Live results can be found here. Swimming prelims on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will start at 1 p.m. ET with finals set for 9 p.m. ET. Diving trials are set to start at 3 p.m. ET with consolation finals at 8:15 p.m. ET and finals taking place later in the night.
It will be Kelly's third time competing at the NCAA Championships, while Lawver will be making his first appearance at the meet. Kelly will be looking to become the first back-to-back All-American since Carl Paulson in 1943 and 44.
Kelly enters the meet with the third-fastest time in the nation in the 200 breaststroke and the fourth-fastest time in the 100 breaststroke in the NCAA (). Kelly was this year's 100 breaststroke Ivy Champion and finished second in the 200 breaststroke. Kelly will also swim in the 200 IM.
Lawver earned his spot in the NCAA Championships with a third-place finish in the 1-meter at the Zone A Diving Championships. Lawver will also compete in the 3-meter after placing in the top-12 in Zone A.
While the meet starts on Wednesday night with relays, Brown's two athletes will begin competition on Thursday (March 27). Kelly will take part in the 200 IM prelims and Lawver will be on the board in the 1-meter.
On Friday, Kelly will be taking part in the 100 breaststroke with Lawver on the 3-meter. Saturday will bring the meet to a close with Kelly swimming in the 200 breaststroke.
