Men’s Tennis Remains Unbeaten at Home With 6-1 Win Over Navy

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team (15-5) moved to 13-0 at home with a 6-1 win over Navy (12-12) inside the Pizzitola Sports Center on Saturday afternoon.

With the win, Brown has won six consecutive matches dating back to Feb. 21.

The Bears came out strong securing the doubles point after picking up wins in all three matches from Noah Hernandez and Lukas Phimvongsa, Zander Bravo and Alex Finkelstein, and James Lian and Sam Feldman.

In the singles action, Brown won five out of six matches as Finkelstein, Hernandez, Phimvongsa, Lian, and Oliver Worth all picked up victories.

Brown will look extend its winning streak to seven and its home record to 14-0 when they welcome Bryant on Wednesday, Mar. 26 at 4:00 p.m.
