Chen and Bililies Selected for 2025 NCAA Championship

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Two Bears – Jessie Chen (foil) and Soph Bililies (sabre) earned selections to the 2025 NCAA Championships. The NCAA announced the 2025 field on Tuesday.
The Brown duo will compete in the 2025 National Championship on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 on the campus of Penn State in University Park, Pennsylvania.
Chen earns her first berth to the NCAA Championships after a strong sophomore season. She most recently finished eighth at the NCAA Northeast Regional. She compiled 11 wins at the Northeast Regional.
Chen also posted a tenth-place finish at the 2025 Ivy League Championships with an 8-10 overall record.
Bililies qualifies for her first NCAA Championship after a sophomore campaign that saw her finish fourth at the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regional. Bililies compiled a 16-11 overall record at the Regional and took seven wins in the Round of 12 to finish fourth.
It marks the third straight season the Bears have earned a pair of NCAA Individual qualifiers.
