Jack Kelly, Marton Nagy Win Titles on Day Three of Men's Swim & Dive Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – More records fell and two Bears were crowned champions as Brown Men's Swimming and Diving had another strong showing on Day Three of the Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday night (Feb. 28).
Jack Kelly defended his crown in the 100 breaststroke as the senior went back-to-back, winning the event with a time of 50.60. That time was an Ivy League, Brown program and pool record.
Marton Nagy showed the future for Brown as the first year won the 400 IM with a program record time of 3:42.64.
The night began with Matt Williamson setting a new standard in the 1000 freestyle for the Bears. Williamson finished fifth in the event with a time of 8:56.13. Christian Duetoft placed eighth with a time of 9:03.95 and Max Hardart was 10th with a time of 9:04.97.
Marcus Lee was the top finisher for Brown in the 200 freestyle with an eighth-place finish in a time of 1:36.37.
The night concluded with the team of Nagy, Kelly, Tucker Peterson and Lee setting the program record with a time of 3:08.39, which was a fifth-place finish.
