Men's Swimming and Diving Takes Fourth in Ivy League Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving earned a fourth-place finish in the 2025 Ivy League Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. The Bears finished 15 points ahead of Cornell for their best finish since 2022.
Jack Kelly had the best finish on the night for Brown with a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke. Kelly's time of 1:49.80 was an NCAA A Cut time and a program record for the Bears.
In the 1650 freestyle to start the night, Matt Williamson was the top finisher for Brown with a sixth-place finish in a time of 15:01.95.
Marton Nagy picked up his first program record of the night with a time of 1:42.69 in the 200 backstroke. Nagy finished ninth in the event.
Marcus Lee placed eighth in the 100 freestyle, touching the wall in 43.30.
Rowland Lawver followed up his championship performance in the 1-meter with a seventh-place finish in the 3-meter with 311.55 points.
Nagy set his second program record of the evening in the leadoff 100 freestyle in the 400 freestyle relay. Nagy swam the first 100 in 42.78 as the Bears team of Nagy, Lee, Christopher Zhang and Kelly placed sixth with a time of 2:53.40.
