Three Records Fall on Opening Night of Ivy League Men's Swim & Dive Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming had three school records fall on the first night of the 2025 Ivy League Swimming & Diving Championships. The Bears sit in fifth place overall after two relay events.
The Bears started the night breaking the school record in the 200 medley relay with the team of Finn Quested, Jack Kelly, Tucker Peterson and Jonathan Gim finishing in a time of 1:24.92. The Bears finished fifth in the event.
In the 800 freestyle relay, the team of Marton Nagy, Marcus Lee, Christopher Zhang and Jerry O'Mara swam a school record time of 6:21.17 for another fifth-place finish. Nagy's leadoff time of 1:33.56 also set the Brown 200 freestyle relay record.
Day Two of the Ivy League Championships will begin on Thursday with prelims at 11 a.m. before finals at 6 p.m.
