Men’s Tennis Claims Home Victories William & Mary and Siena

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team concluded its weekend with victories over William and Mary and Siena on Sunday inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.

In the Bears' first match of the day against William & Mary, Alex Finkelstein and Zander Bravo secured the doubles point in a clutch 7-6 (7-2) tiebreak victory. In the singles, Brown remained stuck to its winning ways, winning 5 of 6 matches, highlighted by Noah Hernandez's comeback three-set win, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4. In the end, the Bears secured the 6-1 victory over William & Mary.

Against Siena, the Bears won the doubles point thanks to a 6-4 victory by Noah Hernandez and Lukas Phimvongsa. In singles action, James Lian earned a victory while Sam Feldman showed resilience, coming back to win after dropping the first, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. The Bears went on to claim a 4-1 win over the Saints.

Brown will be back in action on Friday, Mar. 7 when they host Boston University inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
