Foley Named Ivy League Co-Defensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore goalie Connor Foley has been named the Ivy League Co-Defensive Player of the Week following a stellar two games between the pipes.
Foley recorded 37 saves and a goal with a .725 save percentage and 7.00 goals against average against the Boston University Terriers and Providence College Friars.
In Tuesday's road game against the Terriers, Foley tallied 18 saves in an 8-7 loss. He added a goal with a shot from beyond midfield.
On Saturday at Stevenson-Pincince Field, Foley was great again and finished the 7-6 win with 19 saves along with a caused turnover.
The Grafton, Massachusetts native holds a .653 save percentage to rank second in the Ivy League and eighth in the NCAA. His 8.40 goals against average ranks third in the conference and 20th nationally.
As a team, Brown 8.33 goals against per game ranks third in the Ivy and tied for 19th nationally.
The Bears host the 11th-ranked Georgetown Hoyas (2-2, 0-0 Big East) on Saturday at Stevenson-Pincince Field. The game is scheduled to begin at noon and will stream on ESPN+ in the United States.
