Men's Swim and Dive Welcomes Bryant on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's swimming and diving team (1-3, 1-3 Ivy) returns to the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center on Saturday, Dec. 6, for a noon dual against Bryant (2-3). Saturday's contest can be watched on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears are coming off a Bucknell Invitational victory. In the three-day meet, Brown defeated Delaware, UMBC, Seton Hall, Davidson, Fordham, and host Bucknell.
- Rory O'Connor set a program record in the 500 freestyle with 4:17.27, breaking the previous pool mark of 4:18.56 set in 2009. It was also a Brown record, set by teammate Matt Williamson during the 2025 Ivy League Championship.
- Brown hosted Yale in its first dual on Nov. 13.
- The Bears are 2-0 when hosting Bryant in the Nelson Fitness Center.
- This season, Brown has 20 victories in events:
- Rowland Lawver has three 1-meter dive victories (Dartmouth/Princeton, Yale, Bucknell) and three 3-meter dive wins (Yale, Penn, Bucknell)
- O'Connor has three 500 freestyle wins this season (Dartmouth/Princeton, Penn, Bucknell) and a 1650 free win (Bucknell).
- Christopher Zhang has two victories in the 100-yard freestyle (Yale, Penn).
- Marton Nagy has registered a win in the 100 backstroke (Penn), two 200 backstroke victories (Penn, Bucknell), two 200 IM wins (Penn, Bucknell), and a 400 IM win (Bucknell).
- Marcel Mateos Vasiliadis won the 1-meter dive at Penn.
- Nagy, Zhang, Erik Nadecki, and Finn Quested won the 800 free relay at Bucknell.
- Last season, Brown defeated Bryant 253-45.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- Bryant is 2-3 overall and coming off the Terrier Invitational in Boston (Nov. 21-23).
- The Bulldogs defeated NJIT and Providence earlier this season.
- The divers competed inside the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center earlier this season, taking on Binghamton on Oct. 16.
UP NEXT
Finals await the Bears, and Brown returns to action on Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. at Harvard to resume Ivy Conference play.
