
Women’s Basketball Continues Pennsylvania Road Trip at Lehigh on Sunday

Scouting the Bears (5-2)
- The Bears defeated Bucknell 61-50 on Friday afternoon, extending its win streak to five-straight. The win also tarnished the Bison's clean sheet (2-0) inside of Sojka Pavilion.
- Senior guard Grace Arnolie netted 13 points for the afternoon at Bucknell. With seven assists against the Bison, she now ranks 10th in program history in career assists with a total of 267. Arnolie leads the Bears in points per game (15.75) and assists per game (5.25).
- Senior forward Alyssa Moreland led Brown with a commanding 16-point, 16-rebound performance securing the eighth double-double of her career, and fourth of the season at Bucknell on Friday.
- Moreland has reached double figures in points in six of seven games this season, including five straight. She has also posted double-digit rebounds in five contests, with Friday marking her second in a row.
- Brown is currently outscoring its opponents 62.4-57.9. The Bears are also shooting a higher percentage from the field than its opponents (.405-.363).
- With its win on Friday, the Bears now even out its record on the road to 2-2.
- The Mountain Hawks dropped its most recent game to San Francisco, 84-89 on Nov. 23.
- Lehigh's two wins came against Cincinnati (Nov. 4) and Drexel (Nov. 19). The Mountain Hawks defeated the Bearcats by three points, and the Dragons by 14. Its five losses came against Fairfield (Nov. 8), La Salle (Nov. 11), Vermont (Nov. 15), Stanford (Nov. 23) and San Francisco (Nov. 25).
- Jessie Ozzauto leads the Mountain Hawks in scoring with an average of 13.7 points per game. Whitney Lind follows behind with an average of 13.5 points per game. Ozzauto recorded a career-high eight assists in Lehigh's loss at San Francisco.
- Leia Edwards was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Nov. 24 for her performances against Drexel and Stanford. She averaged 13.5 points over the two games, scoring 22 points against the Dragons.
- Lehigh earned its fifth Patriot League Championship last season, making it to the NCAA Tournament to take on Duke.
- The Mountain Hawks were selected to finish fifth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, receiving one first place vote.
- Brown owns a 7-6 record against Lehigh, dating back to 1986.
- The teams met last year at the Pizzitola Sports Center, with Lehigh earning a 62-55 win over the Bears.
- Brown has dropped its last three contests with the Mountain Hawks (2024, 2007, 2005).
- The Bears held a six-game winning streak over Lehigh spanning from 1990-2004.
