PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown baseball team has officially released its 2026 season schedule, kicking off a new era for the program in the first year of new Head Coaching Chair Frank Holbrook.
The slate features 40 games, including 16 home games at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium and 21 games against Ivy League opponents. The Bears will face off against four teams that made NCAA Regionals in 2025, and another opponent that was a regional finalist in 2024.
Brown will open the season with its first of two southern trips on February 20-21 with single games against Miami (Ohio), Illinois State and Indiana State, all taking place in Port Charlotte, Florida. The reigning MAC champions, Miami competed in the Knoxville Regional in 2025 while Indiana State made it to the regional finals in 2024 after winning the Missouri Valley title.
The following weekend, the Bears will head back down south to play at Charleston Southern in a three-game series from February 27-March 1.
Friday, March 6 will mark the home opener for the Bears at Murray Stadium as the Rhode Island Rams will visit Providence for the first game of a three-game, home-and-home series between the two in-state foes. After a three-game series at Seton Hall on March 13-15, the Bears will host defending CAA champion Northeastern on March 18, as Holbrook will face off against his former team he helped lead to regionals as an assistant last season.
Ivy League play will commence on Saturday, March 21 at Yale. Brown will host three Ivy League series in 2026 with Princeton (March 28-29), Columbia (April 18-19) and Cornell (April 25-26) all visiting Providence.
The Bears will also welcome five additional non-league opponents to Providence from late March through April with Stonehill on March 24, Bryant on March 31, Merrimack on April 8, Holy Cross on April 14 and one final matchup with URI on April 29.
Each of Brown's home games, and all Ivy League games, will be streamed live on ESPN+.
