Men’s Basketball Picked Sixth in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Brown men's basketball team has been picked sixth in the Ivy League preseason poll, the league announced on Thursday.
Yale took the top spot in the poll after receiving all 21 first place votes and 168 points, followed by Harvard (126 points). Cornell (124 points) and Princeton (97 points) rounded out the top four in the preseason ledger.
Dartmouth (72 points) was picked fifth just ahead of Brown (68 points), Penn was picked seventh (66), and Columbia rounded out the poll in eighth (35 points).
The top four teams in the Ivy League will head to Ivy Madness which will be hosted by Cornell in March.
Brown will open its regular season on Friday, Nov. 7 against Siena, tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
