Cross Country’s Street Named Ivy League Athlete of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown freshman Benjy Street has been named the Ivy League's Male Athlete of the Week following his strong collegiate debut performance at Friday's New England Championships.
Street led the Brown men's cross country team with a 41st overall placement out of 257 runners, completing the 8K course at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in 25:24.9. This is the first Ivy League weekly award of the season for the Brown cross country program.
Street and the Bears will return to action this Friday with the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.
